Attending concerts during the pandemic is changing. As you enter into the gates you would have to get your temperature checked, be wearing a mask, and as you enter the concert site you would need to be 6 feet apart from the other people.

The picture shown above is an assumption of what most of us thought would be what a live concert would look like in 2021. It was assumed that there would be social distancing and limited occupancy requirements, and more than half way through the year and many concerts later we can see that this was not the future.

Taking the attention away from Universal Music Group, the king site of streaming music, Spotify, has been sued for $1.6 billion in unpaid royalties due to the site not having full rights to host songs. This is just a lesson learned, always have the necessary permissions and rights before sharing another artist's music.

As an artist I notice a lot of Spotify songs have been pulled due to fake streams via promotional companies.  As a result this makes it difficult to find was to market music digitally without a grass roots foundation.

The pros of this are that genuine streams are counted and not streams are thrown out.  The cons are that it is very hard to find a reputable marketing agency to promote the music legitimately.
