Lead management solution provider LeanData has released an offering called LeanData Clarity, which provides reports that marketers can use to target campaigns to specific individuals. The company claims it’s the first account-based marketing platform, not only enabling users to surface the most important information about a lead, but providing ways to act upon those insights.

Account-based marketing has become the latest craze in the sales and marketing industry. The idea is to treat any lead as what LeanData described as “a market of one,” and to encourage all the contacts associated with that lead to agree on the same thing: buying your product. It’s about personalizing your efforts toward a select group of individual accounts, instead of simply blasting out thousands of emails using Marketo, Eloqua, and Pardot.

LeanData previously offered a similar feature, a campaign influencer report, but that required more manual labor. The company’s chief marketing officer, Adam New-Waterson, told VentureBeat that prior to Clarity, marketers had a free-form reporting tool that required them to take all the data and figure it out themselves. Now the process is more automated and provides a level of granularity in the data that they’ve never been able to access before.

Washington-based start-up IntellaSphere this week announced the launch of a low-priced, cloud-based marketing guidance center, and suite of associated tools, aimed primarily at the SMB segment.

IntellaSphere is very much a marketing tool. It does provide a platform for publishing and sharing content across the main social channels, and also serves to monitor relevant brand conversations across the network. Distinctively, it throws some key marketing functions into the mix. The Connections Relationship Management system integrates social activity with CRM, profiling online connections as prospects and tracking their behavior. In effect, it automatically builds a prospect database.

IntellaSphere starts at $9.95 per month for one user and five profiles. I noted that the highest priced package (for agencies) was priced at $299 per month, but only served 25 users--somewhat short of what even some medium-sized businesses might need. Worrall told me that the packages can be customized to add users and connections.

When selecting a template, LeadPages offers an option to sort templates based on their typical conversion rate. Let’s say you are building a landing page for a webinar. You can filter the templates so that you are only looking at landing page templates for webinars and then sort them so the highest-converting templates are at the top.

LeadPages sorts templates by type AND conversion rate, and so the point goes to LeadPages.

For customization, ClickFunnels gives more options. LeadPages seems to have traded customization for simplicity and ease of use. For an uber-professional (or a real control freak) this could be an issue.

So the point for amount of customization options goes to ClickFunnels. I also love the graphics and icons that come with ClickFunnels. They are professional, good-looking, and easy to find with a simple search."
