A study carried out by Compare The Market has revealed that Luxembourg is the third least affordable country to buy a property in the world.
The study analysed average property prices per square metre as well as the average disposable household income in 38 countries to calculate the cost per square metre as a percentage of annual income.
The least affordable country for property was South Korea. With the highest price per square metre (€11,396.85) and an average household disposable income of €19,199.27, its affordability ratio came to around 59.4%.
Israel was the second least affordable country. Although it had a lower property price of €6,667.35 per square metre, Israel had an average disposable income of €21,814.81, bringing the affordability ratio to around 30.6%.
The third least affordable country according to Compare The Market was Luxembourg, with an affordability ratio of 28.9%. The average disposable income in Luxembourg was fairly high compared to other countries at an average of €34,450.25, whilst the property price averaged around €9,962.76 per square metre. Stool tests might provide a useful way to help doctors spot early pancreatic cancer, say researchers.
They have been trialling the concept in a study with 136 volunteers.
The findings, described in the journal Gut, suggest detectable changes involving gut bugs could provide a warning sign that a tumour is present.
Pancreatic cancer often doesn't cause symptoms in the early stages. That means it is usually more advanced and harder to treat when it is found.
As the cancer grows it may cause vague symptoms, such as indigestion, changes to bowel habit and some tummy or back pain. Some people see their GP several times before being diagnosed. Fume from soldering iron can be very harmful to our health. Most of the cheap solder contains lead. Lead is a dangerous metal, and it can cause severe damage to our health even cause cancer. Usually, solder has 60% lead and 40% tin. So it is very toxic to our bodies. Even lead-free soldiers are harmful to our bodies! Because they contain resin in their core. And resin is also toxic. Every type of solder is less or more harmful.
So people using soldering iron for a long time, are in big danger. I'm one of them. So, I search for the solution on the internet and find many kinds of solder Fume Extractor, but they all are boring. So I decided to make my own, Fume Extractor which is a little smart. It can detect the smoke coming from the soldering iron and then turn on the Fan to extract the fume. Launched on IndieGogo a few months ago after 2+ years in development, Crowbits is a STEM education project that leverages both the Arduino and ESP32 boards, in addition to the BBC Micro:bit, to teach logical thinking and programming. Featuring Lego-blocks compatibility and a Scratch-like interface, the project has reached its IndieGogo backing goal and is ready to ship, says Crowbits' maker Elecrow.
Crowbits are little plug-and-play blocks that can snap together thanks to their magnetic Pogo pins, which makes it easy to connect crowbits with one another. Elecrow has already built 40+ different crowbits, including a DC motor, a buzzer, a LED, a gesture sensor, and many more. In addition to input and ouput modules, you also have programmable micro-controllers and IIC/UART modules. Yuga Labs, the creator of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT, has announced it is raising $450 million at a $4 billion valuation. The NFT company said the funds would be used to scale its team and operations, which it confirmed includes a new metaverse project called Otherside.
The metaverse project, Otherside, will integrate avatars from a number of NFT projects, including BAYC. Earlier this week, Yuga Labs tweeted a teaser that a metaverse project powered by its new ape-themed crypto coin, Ape Coin was in the works.
Among the investors are Andreessen Horowitz along with gaming studio Animoca Brands and cryptofirms FTX which are both already associated with YugaLabs.
Google, Samsung, Adidas as well as celebrities such as Colin Kaepernick, Shaquille O' Neal, Steve Aoki, and Timbaland among others also invested in the funding round. The NATO Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has completed its test run of secure communication flows that could withstand attackers using quantum computing.
Konrad Wrona, principal scientist at the NCSC, told ZDNet that it is becoming increasingly important to create protection schemes against current and future threats.
"Securing NATO's communications for the quantum era is paramount to our ability to operate effectively without fear of interception," Wrona said.
"The trial started in March 2021. The trial was completed in early 2022. Quantum computing is becoming more and more affordable, scalable and practical. The threat of 'harvest now, decrypt later' is one all organizations, including NATO, are preparing to respond to. Cybersecurity experts believe CVE-2021-44228, a remote code execution flaw in Log4j, will take months, if not years, to address due its ubiquity and ease of exploitation.
Steve Povolny, head of advanced threat research for McAfee Enterprise and FireEye, said Log4Shell "now firmly belongs in the same conversation as Shellshock, Heartbleed, and EternalBlue."
"Attackers began by almost immediately leveraging the bug for illegal crypto mining, or using legitimate computing resources on the Internet to generate cryptocurrency for financial profit... Further exploitation appears to have pivoted towards theft of private information," Povolny told ZDNet.
"We fully expect to see an evolution of attacks." Learn more / En savoir plus / Mehr erfahren: https://www.scoop.it/topic/securite-pc-et-internet https://www.scoop.it/topic/securite-pc-et-internet/?&tag=Log4j

Vikings from Greenland — the first Europeans to arrive in the Americas — lived in a village in Canada’s Newfoundland exactly 1,000 years ago, according to research published Wednesday.
Scientists have known for many years that Vikings — a name given to the Norse by the English they raided — built a village at L’Anse aux Meadows in Newfoundland around the turn of the millennium. But a study published in Nature is the first to pinpoint the date of the Norse occupation.
The explorers — up to 100 people, both women and men — felled trees to build the village and to repair their ships, and the new study fixes a date they were there by showing they cut down at least three trees in the year 1021 — at least 470 years before Christopher Columbus reached the Bahamas in 1492.
