5 Most Common Reasons why Influencer Marketing Fails - onalytica

5 Most Common Reasons why Influencer Marketing Fails - onalytica | Daily Magazine | Scoop.it

Let’s get straight to the point; brands recognize the huge opportunity within Influencer Marketing but not many brands feel that they are being successful at it. Especially with large enterprises the hiatus that is left between blue sky thinking and operational reality is arguably larger than the shock of a Trump news conference. In a time where brands often say “Influencer Relations is a core part of our strategy” and “we have not engaged with influencers yet” in the same sentence, something needs to change.

The 50 Best Social Psychology Books on Persuasion, Influence and Understanding Your Brain

The 50 Best Social Psychology Books on Persuasion, Influence and Understanding Your Brain | Daily Magazine | Scoop.it

Have you ever wanted to be more persuasive, convincing, or if nothing else, understand how others try to influence you? …Of course! Who hasn’t?

Understanding how storytelling works in persuasion, influence, and change, and the research/neuroscience that informs it all is critical if anyone is going to work with stories effectively.

And hooray -- Gregory Ciotti has put together his list of favorite books that help us understand persuasion, influence, change, and stories more deeply. We'll all become more articulate and better at our craft -- whether you are a consultant, storyteller, entrepreneur or CEO.

Some of these I've read, some I haven't -- so I can't wait to dig into this list myself.

I hope we all learn lots and gain lots of useable insights for our work. Enjoy!

What's Really Going on With Klout & Why it's Important to Your Business [infographic] | Daily Magazine | Scoop.it

My friend Mark Bartikoski brought this article and infographic to my attention. It was posted on Business 2 Community..

Whether we like it or not, Klout is here to stay, brands use it to find influencers who will in turn become advocates, companies use it when they're interviewing perspective employees and many of our peers pay attention to it too.

Once scrutinized for its methods and criticized as being nothing more than an online zodiac, Klout has nevertheless secured its place in the social media...

Included in this piece is a tip sheet to help you raise your score.

How does Klout measure your score?

**The number of people you influence + how much you influence them + how influential they are = your Klout Score

What goes into your score?

**Retweets and mentions

**Comments, wall posts and likes

**Tips, to-do's, done
