Institutions have access to more student data than ever before—but it's hard to really grasp what that means, since many of the digital tools that colleges use are from third parties or companies that keep their algorithms private. That makes it hard for students, professors or even journalists to get a glimpse inside. Via Peter Mellow

Today, a day without tech being used in the classroom would be an unusual day indeed. In fact, according to a survey by Front Row Education, 75% of teachers say they use technology daily with their students. Tablets and laptops are now common in many classrooms. These devices can be loaded with education programs and apps for students, and using this kind of technology makes it easy for teachers to track student progress. Via John Evans, Mark E. Nowadays technology is a great tool that helps us in our life, in our work, in our study, etc. The internet is part of our lives and is very beneficial to us. As future teachers, we must show and tell our students all the benefits and advantages that the internet brings to our lives, but we must also make them aware that this if not used in a correct way can be dangerous for them. It is important to read and take into account these three ways to protect our students from the dangers of technology, because they often do not think about the consequences that can bring to their lives the content that they upload to the internet. We need to make sure that our students get the most out of technology.
