I have an entire section in this blog packed full of resources and materials on tips, tutorials, graphics, and guides on how to create and grow your PLN. However, and part of the video series posts I have started a couple of months , I am sharing with you a collection of some good videos to help those of you who are new to the concept of PLN understand it better . Check out the list below.

If you are using Twitter to build your PLN, search using a hashtag related to education. Cybary Man has a massive list of hashtags used by educators. Search one of those hashtags and see who is using it. Then follow some of the people that are using the hashtag(s) related to your interest(s).

If you are using Google+ to build your PLN, a quick and easy way to find other educators is to go to the Communities section and search for an open community that is centered around a topic that you're interested in. You can simply join the community or you can start to put the individual members into your Google+ circles. 

Podemos decir que PLE proviene de la expresión en Ingles “Personal Learning Enviroment“, es decir, Entorno Personal de Aprendizaje y se refiere a una forma de aprender en la red. Se trata de un proyecto formativo más centrado en el aprendizaje informal y surge de la necesidad del individuo de estar permanentemente actualizado. Es el propio usuario quien elige sus objetivos, contenidos, herramientas, fuentes, etc. Esta elección exige cierta madurez y experiencia en la toma de decisiones y en el uso de los medios tecnológicos. Es una forma ideal para el desarrollo personal y/o profesional utilizando todos los recursos disponibles en Internet y potenciando el conocimiento global y el aprendizaje social.
