Jessica Claire Taye's curator insight, July 22, 2014 10:22 AM

in this digital age, we find more and more children being exposed to media/ technology. one example of this was when i was called to babysit a little girl, and during this period, her mom would hand the child her mobile phone, or iPad so that the child can entertain herself.

in this age, and time, (or in the future), i believe more younger children will start having contact with a phone, iPad or some form of technology at a younger age. hence, despite technology being able to occupy a child, it may cause them to lose socializing skills with their peers
