Michael Epstein and Mike Knowlton:  "Transmedia writer and director Lance Weiler predicts that a “more social, more connected, more personalized wave of media” is coming, in stride with the platforms and practices of the new generation. But, like any new media form, there will probably be a lot of borrowing from older forms and audiences will take a while to warm up."

[Co-Authored by Erin Reilly, Jake de Grazia]

The Digital Rocking Chair's insight:

An in-depth look at the development of USC’s Annenberg Innovation Lab's (AIL) new innovation process called Think & Do.  It looks like transmedia projects are natural outcomes of these collaborations.   Plus, there's a great resource list at the end of the paper for those wishing to try it themselves.

Dr. Pamela Rutledge's comment, May 27, 2013 4:26 AM
LucaVanin - It can have the same connotation of untruth in the west; just depends on context (and who's paying!) In Entertainment, of course, no one worries about superficial truth. Even (especially?) in Reality TV. What matters is the universal truth that stories can deliver. That is the real litmus test of truth.
