"During the week we got the recordings from the LAK13 conference, which was held in Leuven, Belgium. There are 40 presentations, 19 hours to watch and listen. I recommend, please check the list. I liked the keynotes and fell in love with Abelardo Pardo’s presentation, he shows the way forward. I belong to the group of educational practitioners, who believe that LAK gives us many useful tools. I have tried to discuss with the Toolers, I wish I had known this presentation while working in a teacher education. To face the reality together, I agree with the choice of red pill.
Building the educational data scientist is going on and first university programs were analyzed. There is need for practitioners. To understand both machine learning and human deep learning. It is the challenging focus. Psychologists and humanists have to meet the nerds and learn to work jointly."
