Google plus remains the most disruptive social network. I do a lot of SOWT (Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses, Threats) analysis. One thing comes up over and over. Many competitors are killing each other on Facebook and or Twitter, but few seize the high ground that is Google plus.

Info graphics are a great way to assemble and distribute information, especially data in one document. Teachers can request their students to compile data and create a visual to share quantifiable information.

These figures displayed in the infographic help show just how powerful social media sites are. Unsurprisingly Facebook has one of the highest amount of users which could suggest when it comes to an IMC program and using social media, Facebook should be strongly taken into consideration alongside the other platforms shown in this infographic.

Love this infographic. What it says is we lucky few Internet marketers have several dimensions to think about when we use social media including: * What are the stated and unstated RULES of the platform?

SCOOPS -- I began using Scoop when I was defining myself a LITE FEET DANCER. There was no single source of info about Lite Feet dance, a NYC Born Battle dance phenom and YouTube Sensation. I created LITE FEET SCOOP TO reference for my own resume but also to provide anyone interested a link to the multitude of YOUTUBE Channels, Sound Cloud and personal sites dedicated to this unique art form and the talented dancers who participate.

Venkatesh - if I am able I give my site as much media support as I can. As a social media trainer I need to 'try out' media before I can teach others to use it and give an insight into which is useful and which is not. So I tend to put my site and what I am doing out on the various social media platforms at least twice a day - I don't over emphasise my site because that can be counter productive (people switch off if all they see from you is self-promotion) and so it is keeping your presence alive but not switching off potential clients by constant ME, ME, ME. I perform both SEO services and social media training for others (see - just a bit of self promotion LOL)

This infographic is a great way to depict many of the articles I've previously pointed out that cover SEO and social media. It is almost easier to explain the relationship in an image format, especially for those who don't have a background in SEO.
There are many other factors that go into how much social media truly affects SEO, so there is more to be explained after this. But this is a great introductory image. It also emphasizes the speed with which social media makes an impact.

Over-simplistic and unrealistically positive picture of big data in healthcare. I wish it would be this easy. |
Interesting insight into the internet
At least, the concern about equality, energy and social welfare is there. I like the last one about engineers tho. Hahaha.
I think this article is awesome because they use data visualization to show what people share the most, visit the most, and search the most. Data is everywhere and people are using it everyday and sometimes don't even think about it.
