The EU is struggling to conclude a coronavirus 'rescue package' which has pitched those nations that have suffered the most - such as Italy and Spain - and fiscal conservatives - such as the Netherlands.
The biggest sticking point seems to be that there's disagreement over whether or not the package should be repayable loans or grants. It will be an important issue for the entire Union, with disagreement, likely to significantly weaken the Union.
